If your Doctor has suggested it, then I’d follow the advice. They only recommend it, if they consider it would be successful. Good luck with it, my Uncle had it done and he is fine. He had it done for prostate cancer. The only thing you may get, would be erectile dysfunction for a while, (possibly always 
) but there are things that can be done to enable a normal sex life, should that happen. So please ask lots of questions beforehand, so you know the pros and cons. Best wishes
