Prostate enlarged – what's the best natural cure/treatment?

Saw palmetto doesn’t seem to help that much,….
To All!
WOW! Thanks a lot for all the incredible help! You gave me more than enough to work with and exactly what I asked for. And a lot of hope and good energy as well; I feel half-healed already! Thank You!
Think I’ll keep this going anyway, tho, it’s a good Flow, y’know?!

The ingredients in the Ayurstate blend are commonly used in India to treat prostate health concerns. Scientific studies have also confirmed countless health benefits brought about by the phytonutrients in these herbs:

Shatavari – Asparagus Racemosus (Shatavari)

Shatavari is a rejuvenating herb that soothes the body to relieve stress and nurtures the reproductive system by strengthening its tissues. It contains saponins Shatavarin I to IV whic are phytoestrogen compounds. Shatavari alwao contains alkaloids, proteins, starch, tannins, and mucilage which help relieve inflammation and improve urine retention and urination.

Punarnava – Boerhavia Diffusa (Boerhavia)

Punarnava contains alkaloids, B-siterol, ursolic acid, and vitamins D and E. Research indicates Punarnava helps inhibit production of polyamines and prostaglandins which are powerful immuno-suppressants produced in the prostate that directly contribute to prostate problems.

Kanchanara – Bauhinia Variegata (Orchid Tree)

Kanchanara is rich in flavonoids and fatty oils and is known for maintaining prostate health and function in Ayurveda. It inhibits an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT, a metabolite which promotes growth of prostate tissue.

Gokshura – Tribulus Terrestris (Tribulus)

Gokshura is a sex and mood enhancer that stimulates the production of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). When LH levels are elevated, the natural production of testosterone increases. LH is a hormone that also increases sex drive and vrility. Research indicates that Gokshura extract significantly improves the quantity and quality of sperm.

Varuna – Crateva Nurvala (Three-Leaf Caper)

Varuna is the herb of choice for maintaining healthy urinary tract and bladder function. It purges the urinary tract, improves kidney efficiency, and improves bladder tissue tone to help decrease residual urine volume.

Guggulu – Commiphora Mukul (Guggul)

Guggulu supports the thyroid gland’s enzymatic activity and improves its ability to absorb iodine, the essential trace mineral for hormone production. Guggulu also helps reduce levels of polyamines and prostaglandins that directly contribute to prostate problems and poor immune response.

Tulasi – Ocimum Tenuiflorum (Holy Basil)

Rich in Vitamin C, carotene, calcium, and phosphorus, Tulasi has application as a pain-killer, an anti-inflammatory agent, an antioxidant, and as a treatment for bacterial, fungal, and viral infections. It contains ursolic acid which reduces histamine release by elevating the number of mast cells in the body. Mast cells are known for their role as a defense against pathogens.

Lajjulu – Mimosa Pudica (Sensitive Plant)

Lajjulu is a much regarded herb in Ayurveda due to its regenerative properties. It has anti-bacterial, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-pyretic, sedative, relaxant, and tonic properties. Research studies show Lajjulu retards mitosis during mammalian cell growth. This indicates that it has an inhibitory effect on abnormal prostate growth.

The exercises described here will treat the prostate naturally and will ease any side effects of any medication you are taking.
Do it and you will know from the future test results. You can also do it alongside any medical treatment.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after about one minute or later. After a few weeks at the suggested maximum duration you will start to notice benefits gradually.

    The pranayam techniques:
Bhastrika – Take a long deep breath into the lungs(chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose.Duration upto 5 minutes.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently. Can be done four months after any surgery.

Anulom Vilom – Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then – close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
    Duration : 5 to 10 times

Only by doing you will benefit and will feel good that you can do something to help the body.Copy and print this to improve your technique and stay focused.
If someone else does the pranayam as well, then you can compare notes.
It is a holistic approach, and will help the body to treat itself.

Unfortunately all saw palmetto supplements are not equal. I suggest all natural Saw Palmetto Plus. Its a blend of natural ingredients which include along with the saw palmetto berry extract, pumpkin seed oil and enriched sources of beta-sitosterols and other valuable phytosterols.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to email me if you have questions.

  5. Healer (not the dog kind) Says:

Saw palmetto needs to be in an oil capsule as the most active ingredient is well solved in oil. Tablets might be not so potent. Here in Australia we have a company that manufacture those. However, if your prostate is too enlarged, no natural cure will help, just a nice sterile knife to the area. If it is fairly early, it just will be "hollowed" out, not complettely removed, so no bad sideeffects.
